Hi Danielle,

I shot you a direct email as well. I ran the Great Bay Half Marathon specifically to raise money for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Many races will allow runners to "run for a reason". Typically, you just need to work with the race director and with someone from the organization for whom you want to raise money. I worked with Leanne Storch from PFF and she was great. Let me know how I can help!

Hi there! My name is Danielle, I don't even know if you will get this comment but i thought i'd give it a shot. My grandfather passed away almost a year ago now from pulmonary fibrosis. I am going to beginning training for a marathon and I really want to run for a purpose: pulmonary fibrosis. I was wondering if you ran through a specific charity or if you did it on your own? I'm just not sure how to go about doing this so if you could let me know I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
