My name is Debbie Reed. I live in Manchester, NH. About a week ago, my Father, Ron Reed of Hubbard, OH, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Since then I’ve been burning the internet for information. I even wrote to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. They sent me several things in the mail including newsletters, where I found your website.
My Dad has also learned that his younger sister also has the disease. In 1982 my grandmother, their mother, died of the same disease. Yes, I’m getting nervous.
Thank you for including your email information. I have sent you an email as well. Please be sure to check it out in your inbox. I do not know of any IPF specific support groups, but I have found the following pulmonary support groups online:
NEW HAMPSHIRE
Laconia, NH, Eager Breathers Networking Meeting, Community Wellness Center, 31 Gilford Ave., Laconia, 2nd Tue/month, 1:00 p.m., 524-3211 ext 3628
Lebanon, NH, Breathe Free, 2nd Tuesday of each month at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, One Medical Drive. priscilla.robichaud@hitchcock.org

Is there a local support group in our fair state?
